Take-home calculator
A sole trader (JDG) in Poland picks one of three forms of taxation. Which one leaves you the most depends on your PKD code, your costs and how much you invoice. The calculator in the app compares all three on your own numbers.
12% for IT
A lump-sum rate charged on revenue, not on profit, so business costs are not deducted. The rate is fixed by your PKD code — 12% for software development and IT services (PKD 62), 8.5% for many other service activities. Filed annually on PIT-28.
12% / 32%
Progressive tax on profit: 12% on income up to 120 000 PLN a year and 32% above that, with a tax-free allowance of 30 000 PLN. Costs are deductible, and joint filing with a spouse and child relief stay available.
19%
A flat 19% on profit whatever you earn. Costs are deductible, but there is no tax-free allowance and no joint filing. It usually starts to win at higher income with real business costs.
Rates as applied by the Trusti Tax engine. An estimate for planning, not tax advice. VAT is left out of what you keep on purpose: it is collected from your client and paid on to the tax office, so it was never your money.
The difference
Every client is paired with a dedicated, licensed accountant. Not a chatbot — a real professional who knows your situation.
Everything is ready before you open the app. Your accountant's job is mostly done already.
Real accountant if anything unusual comes up. One message away.
Speed of software + trust of a human. Taxes become something you don't think about.

FAQ
Taxes for the self-employed in Poland, in plain words.
Trusti Tax is a tax compliance service for self-employed people (JDG) in Poland — freelancers and IT professionals in particular. It calculates and files your ZUS, VAT and PIT declarations, handles invoicing, and pairs every client with a dedicated licensed accountant. The app and accountant support are available in Ukrainian, English and Polish.
Monthly ZUS DRA social and health contributions, VAT through JPK_V7M or JPK_V7K, and the annual PIT-28 return for ryczałt. Declarations are built from your confirmed invoices, reviewed by your accountant and submitted electronically to the Polish tax administration.
All three forms open to a Polish sole trader: ryczałt (a lump-sum rate on revenue, 12% for software development and IT services, 8.5% for many other services, set by your PKD code), the tax scale — skala podatkowa (12% on income up to 120 000 PLN a year, 32% above it, with a 30 000 PLN tax-free allowance), and the flat tax — podatek liniowy (a flat 19%). The free calculator compares all three for your PKD code and your monthly invoicing.
ZUS contributions and your income-tax advance are due by the 20th of the following month. The JPK_V7 VAT return is filed by the 25th of the following month. Trusti Tax puts every date in a tax calendar and reminds you before it arrives.
A newly registered JDG starts on ulga na start: six months with the health contribution only and no social contributions. Then come preferential contributions for 24 months, calculated from 30% of the minimum wage, and only after that full ZUS. Trusti Tax tracks which stage you are in and applies it automatically.
Registration becomes mandatory once your annual turnover passes the exemption threshold of 240 000 PLN, and some activities require it from the very first invoice. Trusti Tax watches your running turnover and warns you before you cross the threshold. VAT does not change what you take home — you collect it from your client and pass it on.
Basic is free and covers the tax calendar and reminders, invoice creation, manual declarations and the Ukrainian, English and Polish interface. Pro is $10 a month and adds automated ZUS, VAT and PIT filing, your personal accountant, built-in payments, multi-client invoicing and priority support. No hidden fees.
Yes. Every client is paired with a real, licensed accountant — not a chatbot. Automation prepares everything before you open the app, the accountant double-checks the filings, and they are one message away when something unusual comes up.
Yes. You can create and send invoices to one or many clients from the app, and Trusti Tax submits them to KSeF, the Polish national e-invoicing platform. The tax engine applies the correct VAT and ryczałt rate to every line automatically.
Yes. You bring your year-to-date figures across in a single document and carry on from the current month — there is no need to wait for January.
